24 Million Americans Have Diabetes, CDC Finds
Sad news indeed. A whopping 24 million Americans now have diabetes as of 2007. That's an increase of 3 million people in a mere two years, according to new data released by the CDC. What's more, the CDC estimates, another 57 million people have pre-diabetes, which means they're at risk of developing full-blown diabetes.
