Measuring your blood sugar

It's a good idea to measure your blood sugar in the morning before breakfast, as people with type 2 diabetes often have high blood sugar in the morning. Every now and then, you should also test your blood sugar one and a half hours after each meal, to see just how high the blood sugar gets after you have eaten. In this way, you get to know your diabetes and how to control it.
